Melissa + I met at a tiny little wine bar during the pandemic. She was sitting with her beautiful dog Ali. At the time I was dogless. I asked if I could pet Ali. We began to talk + realized we had some real estate interests in common. Fast-forward, we ended up teaming up on a few listings from purchase to design concept to staging to listing and selling (well above asking) We worked beautifully + successfully together.

Then she moved to Northern California & comes down occasionally to attend to her investment property. She’s a badass + I am continually inspired by her.

So happy she could join me for a stunning evening on the water. 🌊🌅⛵️

I miss her dearly.🤍🌷

A slice of my family are currently residing where (some) of our/my ancestors were born
+ as a result, more of my family have been visiting.

My last (given/maiden) name is Posthuma
We are Dutch, but also Frisian.

Our family comes from the part of the Netherlands called Friesland, in the northwest of the country. They have their own language as well + it’s the closest language to English. Although, it’s dying out. It’s also spoken in a few other places in the north of Europe. There’s a famous ice skating race that takes place in Friesland called the 11 city tour, where they race between 11 cities on the canals. With climate change, it rarely occurs any more.

My (now retired) horse “Jens” was imported from the same region of the Netherlands.
